Land Cruiser Axle Extension Tubes

These axle extensions fit between the knuckle ball and axle tube

They extend the side, where placed, approximately 2 3/4" (Which is the difference between the long side 40 and long side 60)

If placed on the short side of a 60 housing, that housing can be used in the front end of a 40 series without modifying your spring hangers

The advantage of the wider axle is that it allows a full left to right turn radius with 35" and larger tires. Generally, with a 35 and larger tire, on a stock axle, the tires will contact the leaf spring in a full lock turn of either direction

Machined from 3 1/4" x .500 wall DOM tubing

We recommend rosette welds along with the full circumference welds when installing these

Obviously a custom axle shaft will have to be made when you change the length of the housing

You can go to RCV Performance to have axles made. They will build to your spec. Simply asking them to build the stock shaft plus 2 3/4" will get you a correct axle. They already have the measurements for all the stock Land Cruiser axle lengths:
