Tie Rod End Inserts
We have 3 available options for tie rod end inserts:
A heavier duty power steering setup for a 40 series would use 60 knuckles, 60/80 rod ends at the wheel, a 60 relay rod down low with the 2027 end at the pitman arm
I would typically recommend a Wagoneer pitman, as it is more robust than the CJ arm, common to commercial kits
Whatever you use it is likely that you'll need to have the arm tapered to the GM taper to accept the 2027 end. Taper reamers are usually available on EBAY. I've found both GM and Toyota tapers on that site
All of our inserts are designed to fit into 1 1/4" x .250 wall DOM tubing
but any tube with a 3/4" ID will work
so you can build your steering rods to any length you need
